United Arab Emirates: The Emir of Kuwait lands in Abu Dhabi to meet with Sheikh Mohamed – News

Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, arrived in Abu Dhabi today on a state visit to the United Arab Emirates.
President Sheikh Mohamed personally led the reception of the Emir and his delegation upon their arrival at the Presidential Airport.
Also present at the reception were Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and President of the Presidential Court; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs of the Presidential Court, and Matar Al Neyadi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Kuwait.
As the Emir of Kuwait’s plane entered UAE airspace, it was greeted with a ceremonial escort of UAE military aircraft as a gesture of warm welcome to the nation’s distinguished guest. The escort squadron leader asked Sheikh Mishal for permission to escort his plane to Abu Dhabi Presidential Airport, welcoming him to his second home, the United Arab Emirates.
