Mohammed bin Rashid issues decree to form new Board of Trustees of UAE Food Bank

Dubai: In his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, issued Decree No. (16) of 2024 forming the new Board of Directors of the Food Bank of the United Arab Emirates. chaired by Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, Supreme President of the Bank.

According to the decree, the Director General of Dubai Municipality acts as Vice President of the Board. Members of the Board of Directors also include: the Executive Director of the Community Empowerment Sector of the Community Development Authority in Dubai; one representative from each of the following entities: Dubai Endowment and Minors Trust Foundation, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation, Dubai Government Media Office, Dubai Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities , and the Department of Food and Beverage Manufacturing Group; and the CEO of the UAE Food Bank.
