CBUAE gold reserves increase to AED 17,921 million, representing a year-on-year growth of 7%

The value of the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (CBUAE) gold reserves reached AED 17,921 million as of the end of January 2024, a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 7 percent.
The apex bank, in its latest figures, showed that gold reserves fell slightly by 1.25 percent compared to AED 18,147 in December 2023.
The UAE’s gold reserves have grown significantly in recent years, reaching AED 12,862 billion at the end of 2020, from AED 4,440 billion at the end of 2019, and AED 1,134 billion in 2018.
