Two UAE aid planes arrive in Benghazi, Libya

On Tuesday, a search and rescue team from the United Arab Emirates sprang into action immediately upon arrival in Benghazi, in flood-hit eastern Libya. The team is made up of 34 people equipped with the machinery and equipment necessary to carry out their tasks.
The 34-member team is classified in the “Heavy” category, which is an international license approved by the United Nations International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG) that allows the team to conduct regional search and rescue operations. and internationally in accordance with the requirements, standards and procedures followed in this regard.
