“Our window shakes as if it were going to fall on our heads. Rain is coming in through it, despite being closed,” said FD, who lives in a building in that area.
Similarly, other residents of that area shared their concern about the power and water supply outage: “I have lived here for so many years and there has never been a power outage that lasted more than an hour like this. “We definitely underestimated the strength of this storm.” said ma
The National Weather Center issued an announcement Monday warning residents about the extreme weather and the danger of the storm. Abu Dhabi Police and the Ministry of Interior also warned residents about the extreme weather, asking them to exercise caution and drive safely.
In Dubai, the electricity and water supply has also suffered an outage that has not yet been resolved. Siraj, a resident of Al Warqa 1, said: “We have no electricity, no water or any power supply; “We can’t produce food because we can’t even use our gas, they are flooding here and the conditions are strange.”
Although the problem of electricity and water supply has not yet been resolved in the Warqa 1 area of Dubai and the flooding is still continuing, the situation in Abu Dhabi has been resolved and the accumulated rainwater has begun to dry out in the sunny weather current.
