Flynas announces seven new routes from Medina

Saudi low-cost airline Flynas has added seven new routes to its flight network.
These routes will operate from their new base of operations at Medina Airport from December 1, 2023.
Domestically, it will launch two routes from Medina to Abha and Tabuk. Internationally, five new routes will be operated from Medina to Dubai, Amman, Baghdad, Istanbul and Ankara.
These services will operate alongside four existing routes from Medina to Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Cairo.
The latest announcement will bring the total number of routes operated by flynas from Medina to 11.
The airline’s board of directors has already approved the decision to increase new aircraft orders to 250 aircraft, which would position Flynas as the largest low-cost airline in the Middle East. It currently connects with more than 70 destinations and aims to reach 165 national and international destinations.

Flynas claimed that it is the only airline with four operational bases in the kingdom. The airline recently signed an agreement with Tibah Airports Operation Company to launch that base.

In early October, Flynas reported that it had taken delivery of five A320 neo aircraft over the past month. These deliveries bring Flynas’ all-Airbus fleet to 56 aircraft, recording growth of more than 100 percent over the past two years. The delivery of the five new A320 neo aircraft brings the number of aircraft received by flynas this year to 11. This year, a total of 19 A320 neo aircraft were scheduled to be delivered to flynas.
