MoHRE and ICP launch campaign on entry and exit permit regulations

He Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MoHRE) and the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) launched a campaign to raise awareness about foreign entry and residence laws, as well as labor legislation.
The campaign begins on October 10 and will last three months, in which various government entities and free zones throughout the country will participate, WAM reported.
Khalil Al Khoori, Undersecretary of Human Resources Affairs at MoHREsaying,
“Collaboration with UAE government entities is the cornerstone of our efforts to regulate and improve the competitiveness, efficiency and flexibility of the labor market, which, in turn, contributes to driving sustainable development in various sectors.”
He added that the campaign aims to reinforce awareness about UAE laws regarding immigration.
“The campaign aims to familiarize people with the key provisions of the entry and residence laws for foreigners in the United Arab Emirates, as well as the regulations for labor relations (the labor law) and the procedures and sanctions for offenders”.
Al-Khoori explained.
“This serves to encourage target groups to comply with laws to ensure the rights of both parties in the employment relationship.”
UAE laws for entry and exit visas
Major General Suhail Al Khaili, Director General of the PCIsaying,
“The campaign aims to promote compliance with the law, in particular the conditions and regulations for the entry and residence of foreigners in the UAE, as well as regulations for labor relations. The campaign also highlights the legal measures taken against offenders, which strengthen the rule of law as a culture in society.”
