Dubai Tourism and Avaya to build AI-powered platform to streamline business licensing

Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) has been associated with to goglobal leader in customer experience solutions, to build an AI-powered platform that will streamline business license setup in Dubai.
This initiative will support efforts to achieve the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) to double the size of Dubai’s economy over the next decade and consolidate its position among the world’s top three cities.
Digitization of business license applications
The platform aims to help digitize the business license application process, using artificial intelligence to resolve the most common pain points in the process and providing instant digital access to on-demand experts, Avaya said in its statement.
The customized digital solution for DET requirements will provide a seamless experience between clients and DET advisors across a variety of digital channels. An intelligent chatbot, powered by an advanced knowledge management system, will offer powerful self-service tools that automate the most common service requests for internal and external users.
Avaya communications technology will also help DET adopt a digital approach to customer satisfaction, giving Dubai investors direct access to advisors via video from anywhere in the world.
Finally, a full suite of advanced AI-enabled analytics tools will allow DET to identify problem areas in the customer journey and enable managers to act quickly to resolve them.
