Sharjah Airport has seen a notable presence in passenger traffic, with more than 4 million in the third quarter of 2023, recording an increase of more than 12 percent compared to the same period last year.
Air traffic during the period reached 26,000, due to the progress made in the airport’s services and ongoing development activities following its strategic vision.
In addition, the volume of merchandise handled during the period reached around 35,000 tons, in addition to more than 3,000 tons of sea-air cargo, which reflects the Airport’s commitment to increasing efficiency and the ability to respond quickly to cargo operations that They require special attention, such as handling, shipping and storage.
Sharjah Airport Authority continues its expansion project to provide quick and easy access to services for passengers and ensure a distinguished travel experience.
