Dubai: Sheikh Hamdan announces Global Prompt Engineering Championship to be held in May 2024

Dubai: Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), has issued directives to organize the World Rapid Engineering Championship in May. 2024.
With a total prize pool of Dh1 million, the championship is the largest challenge of its kind to harness the power of generative AI. The challenge will be organized through a partnership between DFF and the Dubai Artificial Intelligence Center.
The global event, which will take place at the Museum of the Future, will include three main categories: literature, art and coding.
The challenge will last two days. The first day will focus on selecting the 30 best rapid engineering programmers who will participate in the final phase on the second day. The programmers will then be divided into five groups, each of which will compete in three categories: literature, art and coding. Completed projects will be evaluated by a specialized committee based on speed, quality and accuracy. The winners of the three categories will receive a total prize of Dh1 million.
The championship aims to strengthen Dubai and the UAE’s position as a destination for generative AI talent and entrepreneurs, as well as a hub for developing a new generation of innovations associated with rapid engineering.
