Watch: UAE Armed Forces Demonstrate Military Power in Special Parade – News

The United Arab Emirates witnessed a grand spectacle of military might on Sunday, as the country’s armed forces highlighted their advanced defensive capabilities in the presence of the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The demonstration involved simulated combat scenarios in which land, sea and air forces faced various highly challenging conditions and complex situations.

A video shared by the Abu Dhabi Press Office shows military personnel performing a wide range of impressive maneuvers, from jumping from a plane into the sea to launching missiles at “enemy” targets.

Other parts of the video show women with abayas hanging from cars and vehicles moving in skillful formation. K9 units, cavalry and paratroopers also participated in the demonstration. From naval officers wading through water to camouflaged ground soldiers with sniper weapons, the UAE armed forces could be seen in their element, displaying their readiness for any type of combat.

On this occasion, the President praised the high readiness of the Armed and security forces, the advanced level of its members and units, and the sophisticated capabilities they possess. He confirmed that the Armed Forces have faithfully guarded the UAE’s development path for decades and will continue to be a symbol of the nation’s resilience and honor.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed also praised the security forces for their vigilance in effectively defending the security of the community. He expressed his appreciation and gratitude for his dedicated national service.

The Union Fortress 9 military parade was attended by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and President of the Presidential Court; Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Governor of Abu Dhabi, along with several sheikhs, ministers and high-ranking state officials.

Also in attendance were Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defense Affairs, and Issa Al Mazrouei, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, along with several senior officers, guests and some members of the public.
