A fire that broke out in a warehouse in Sharjah’s industrial area on Friday afternoon was immediately brought under control by authorities.
The Sharjah Police operations room received the initial report at 3.34pm about a fire in a warehouse storing used car parts. The fire sent plumes of thick, black smoke into the sky that were visible even from neighboring Ajman.
Sharjah Civil Defense teams were immediately dispatched to the scene and firefighters reportedly brought the fire under control in record time, preventing it from spreading to surrounding areas.
No injuries were reported from the incident. Details about the cause of the fire were not yet available.
