Sheikh Mohammed welcomes more than 4,500 delegates to the World Radiocommunication Conference in the United Arab Emirates

On the occasion, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, tweeted: “The government of the United Arab Emirates is hosting the world’s largest telecommunications conference today, which was attended by more than 4,500 government officials. from 193 countries and 900 international organizations, universities and companies around the world.”
“The World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-23) is the place where the countries of the world agree on wireless communications, their frequencies and their role in new sectors such as health, education, manufacturing, smart cities and others. We are proud to have the UAE government host such a global event and welcome all representatives from countries, companies and universities. Our message to everyone is welcome to the country of the future,” Sheikh Mohammed added.
WRC-23, which will take place from 20 November, brings together national government authorities and telecommunications regulatory agencies with representatives of key radio communications users and suppliers to consider crucial discussions on global policy and technical regulation.
