Emirates tops ULTRAs 2023 awards as ‘Best airline in the world’

Emirates takes center stage at the 2023 ULTRA Awards, taking home two coveted awards. Crowned “The best airline in the world” and ““Best airline in the Middle East” – the world’s largest international airline won the votes of thousands of travelers around the world, thanks to its world-class products, unparalleled services and value-for-money offerings.
Thomas Ney, senior vice president of service delivery division at Emirates, collected the awards at a ceremony held yesterday in Dubai at the Nikki Beach Club. The ceremony was also attended by other notable guests and prominent members of the travel industry.
Adel Al Redha, Emirates Chief Operating Officer, commented:

Best-in-class travel experiences
Emirates continues to invest in product and service improvements to ensure customers have the best travel experience in the air and on the ground. The airline recently launched a new check-in facility in the city at the Dubai International Financial Centre; expanded its global network with the launch of a new route to Montreal; launched a meal pre-order service for customers to select their meal options before travel; and offered free onboard Wi-Fi for all Emirates Skywards members.

Award streak
Emirates recently won the World Class Airline APEX 2024 for providing excellent customer service and for exhibiting the highest global standards of safety and well-being, sustainability and guest service experience. The airline also earned an IFSA 2024 award for ‘The best amenities on board,‘ in recognition of the airline’s sustainable amenity kit in Economy Class.
Emirates operates the world’s largest fleet of Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 widebody aircraft, offering spacious cabins and iconic onboard features such as its A380 Shower Spa and Onboard Lounge. The airline recently announced record performance in the 2023-24 half-year, carrying more than 26 million passengers on its extensive network.
