One resident was killed and two others were injured after a large fire engulfed a mid-rise residential building in Phase 1 of International City on Saturday afternoon, authorities announced. The fire was successfully contained and the building was evacuated to ensure the safety of its residents, a Dubai Civil Defense official confirmed to Khaleej Times.
