United Arab Emirates: New city check-in service opens for Abu Dhabi airport passengers – News

A new city check-in service has been launched at Yas Mall on Yas Island for passengers traveling via Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi.

The check-in service will be offered exclusively for Etihad Airways and Air Arabia flights. The facility is in Fountains, which has several dining options. Additionally, theme parks such as Ferrari World Yas Island and Clymb Yas Island are nearby.

Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, CEO of Miral Group, said: “The revolutionary remote airport check-in at Fountains at Yas Mall is a testament to our tireless efforts to position Yas Island as a global leisure and leisure destination. entertainment, while contributing to making Abu Dhabi an important tourist center.”

Yas Island is home to award-winning theme parks including Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World and SeaWorld, and other diverse offerings such as Yas Links, Yas Marina and Yas Bay Waterfront.

The check-in service was introduced through a collaboration between Miral, the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT – Abu Dhabi), Abu Dhabi Airports and OACIS Middle East. This collaboration follows the launch of the state-of-the-art Terminal A, which can accommodate 45 million passengers a year.

Titten Yohannan, President and CEO of OACIS Middle East, said: “We are excited about the prospects this collaboration offers in terms of increased travel flexibility, security and peace of mind for our valued travelers.”

The check-in desk is located on the ground floor of Fountains, next to Madcap Abu Dhabi. It operates daily between 10 am and 10 pm. Check-in charges are Dh35 per adult (passengers over 12 years of age), Dh25 per child (children 12 years of age and younger) and Dh15 per infant (infants two years of age and younger).
