UAE: Sharjah announces Ramadan schedules for government employees – News

The Sharjah Government has announced new timings for the holy month of Ramadan. The Sharjah Human Resources Authority announced the official working hours of government departments, institutions and agencies.
According to the Hijri calendar published by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department of Dubai (IACAD), Ramadan will likely begin on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

Government sector employees must work from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. during the holy month of Ramadan.
The work schedule applies to both fasting and non-fasting employees, facilitating their participation in spiritual activities and cultural practices during this holy month.
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) issued a circular setting out the official working hours during the holy month of Ramadan for employees of federal authorities.
