MBRAH and TIM Aerospace begin construction of one of the largest MRO hangars in the region

The Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), Dubai’s aerospace platform dedicated to advancing the aviation industry, and Tim Aerospace have broken ground on their new hangar in Dubai South.

The new facility will be built to the maximum allowable design dimensions, making it one of the largest widebody capable MRO hangars in the GCC, accommodating up to five widebody aircraft of any type, excluding the A-380. .

The opening ceremony took place at MBRAH in South Dubai and was attended by His Excellency Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai Southand Timor Shah Shahab, founder and CEO of Tim Aerospacein the presence of senior managers from both entities.

The new facility, scheduled to be completed in 2025, will provide premium, cost-effective aircraft base maintenance services for various types of wide- and narrow-body commercial passenger and cargo aircraft.
