A global humanitarian organization in Sharjah launched a Ramadan campaign on Friday, seeking to bring hope to war-torn Gaza and Sudan.
Called ‘I Am Human’, The Big Heart Foundation’s (TBHF) Zakat campaign allows residents and good Samaritans to share their blessings with dozens of families and children caught in the crossfire.
With a donation of 100 dirhams, you can feed a family of five Palestinians who are besieged by the devastating Israeli war in Gaza and deprived of sources of basic sustenance. It can also reach a family of five displaced in Sudan.

A contribution of Dh500 puts a temporary roof over the heads of a family of five in Gaza or Sudan, while zakat of Dh7,000 means a child from a low-income family in the United Arab Emirates can go to school. in Sharjah for a full academic year.

Mariam Al Hammadi, CEO of TBHF, said that no contribution is too small and that “every act of kindness, no matter how simple, gives us the strength to dispel the darkness and spread hope in the hearts of many in need.”
“Humanity can change difficult circumstances and put an end to this unprecedented human suffering in our region, especially in Gaza and Sudan, where people suffer from the lack of basic necessities of life,” he said.
