Arab travel market witnesses remarkable 56% growth in travel technology sector

More than 100 of the world’s leading travel technology companies will exhibit at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2024, taking place at the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) in the United Arab Emirates from Monday, May 6 to Thursday, May 9.

Delegates will explore how advanced technology can be leveraged to drive improvements across a variety of segments, including payments, professional development, accessibility, sustainability and more.
Danielle Curtis, Middle East Exhibition Director at Arabian Travel Market (ATM), announced the launch of Future Stage of ATM capitalize on growing innovation in the travel industry. The global travel technology market, valued at $9.4 billion in 2022, is projected to reach $21 billion by 2032.
He Future stage will feature presentations such as “Navigating the Future” and “Putting the Traveler First with AI,” along with the ATM Start-up Pitch Battle, which will showcase promising startups. Additionally, exhibitors such as Huawei will sponsor events such as the “Capitalizing on China’s Expected Surge in Tourism” summit, in line with ATM 2024’s theme of boosting innovation in travel.
ATM 2024 It will also feature for the first time the “Best Use of Technology” award in its annual exhibitor awards. Exhibitors will be evaluated on how and to what extent they have adopted and deployed technology in their stands.
In line with its theme, ‘Strengthening innovation: transforming travel through entrepreneurship’, the 31st edition of ATM It will once again host policymakers, industry leaders and travel professionals from across the Middle East and beyond, encouraging them to forge new relationships, exchange knowledge and identify innovations that can reshape the future of global travel and tourism. From startups to established brands, the upcoming show will highlight how innovators are improving customer experiences, driving efficiencies and accelerating progress toward a net-zero future for the industry.
More than 40,000 travel professionals, including 30,000 visitors, attended the 30th edition of ATM in May 2023, setting a new show record. The exhibition attracted more than 2,100 exhibitors and representatives from more than 155 countries, providing a global platform for the presentation of ATM’s net zero commitment.
Held in conjunction with Dubai World Trade Centre, ATMs 2024 strategic partners include the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) as destination partner, Emirates as official airline partner, IHG Hotels & Resorts as official hotel partner and Al Rais Travel as official DMC partner.
