He added that they are currently working on a technical project, explaining that once the shipping receipt arrives at the port, proactive measures will be taken to accelerate operations, reaching the final step of delivering the merchandise directly to the warehouses, without the need to wait and carry out the shipping clearance process.
“Supply chains and the broader logistics sector, and the trade sector, are somewhat lagging in the adoption of digital technology compared to other sectors around the world, and this is what the Dubai Trade platform seeks to change.”
