The Saeed Ahmed Lootah Charitable Foundation has pledged to contribute Dh15 million over a three-year period to help achieve the campaign’s objectives of promoting education in disadvantaged communities. The contribution is part of a community response to the campaign that has attracted support from individuals, businesses and institutions.
Engineer Yahya Saeed Lootah, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saeed Ahmed Lootah Charitable Foundation, said: “The Mothers’ Endowment campaign launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum represents a key milestone in the UAE’s humanitarian journey, as it highlights the importance given to meeting the needs of disadvantaged communities, including education as a priority.
“Our contribution to the campaign reflects the commitment of the Foundation Board of Trustees, led by Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Vice President of Police and Public Security in Dubai, to promote the value of solidarity in our community and support the noble efforts of the United Arab Emirates and by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) to extend aid to those in need and alleviate their suffering. The campaign goals align with founder Saeed Ahmed Lootah’s vision of honoring mothers and recognizing his role in raising the next generation,” he added.
The Mothers’ Endowment campaign, launched under the MBRGI umbrella and coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan, allows contributors to make donations in honor of their mothers, while promoting the values of honoring parents, kindness, compassion and solidarity in the community. By offering sustainable support to disadvantaged communities through education and empowerment, the campaign helps revive the culture of giving as a development tool.
The Mothers’ Endowment campaign continues to welcome donations and contributions to the endowment fund from institutions and individuals through six main channels, including the campaign website (Mothersfund.ae), as well as a dedicated call center through the toll-free number (800 9999). . Donations are also possible by bank transfer in UAE dirham to the campaign bank account number at Emirates Islamic Bank (AE790340003708472909201). Donations via SMS are possible by sending the word “Mother” to the following numbers (1034, 1035, 1036, 1038) for Etisalat by e& users.
