Capital.com Expands UAE Presence with New Regional Headquarters

Capital.comThe high-growth global trading platform and fintech group whose trading volumes exceeded $1 trillion in 2023, has announced that it will join the UAE group. #nextgenerationFDI initiative for digitally enabled companies when opening a new subsidiary, Capital Com MENA Securities Trading LLC (Capital Com MENA)based in the United Arab Emirates.
The new entity will be the operational headquarters for the region as the company consolidates its position in the UAE market and looks to expand in MENA and Asia. The announcement comes after the company last week received full regulatory approval for the UAE Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA).
Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, saying,

These companies recognize that the UAE offers not only one of the most vibrant ecosystems in the world, but also serves as an access point to the expanding regional economies and high-growth markets of Asia and Africa.

he added.

Capital.com is set to join the UAE #NextGenFDI Program, a government initiative that facilitates the expansion of global companies in the UAE. Previously, in 2022, it sponsored the NextGenTalent initiative, which focuses on preparing local youth for the technology sector. NextGenTalent engaged 5,000 Emirati students in advanced technology skills taught by industry leaders such as META, Oracle and Google. Through #NextGenFDI, Capital.com anticipates tapping into the UAE’s technology ecosystem and talent pool. The company also supported the activities of the Ministry of Economy at Trade Day COP 28. This move underlines Capital.com’s commitment to fostering technology talent and expanding its presence in the UAE.
