UAE Prosecutor’s Office clarifies sanctions for illegal fireworks trade

The law defines explosives in Article 1 as “˜A chemical compound or a mixture of different chemical compounds that react with each other when exposed to certain factors, such as an instigating force that produces a certain pressure, heat and velocity that affects or damages the surrounding area. and that includes the fireworks.”

Article 3 of the law says: “Possession, acquisition, obtaining, carrying, import, export, re-export, transit, transshipment, trade, manufacture, repair, transportation or disposal of any weapon, ammunition, explosives, military material.” , or dangerous substances, will not be allowed in any way, except after obtaining a license or permit for this purpose from the granting authority or the corresponding entity, in accordance with the provisions of this Decree-Law.”
