‘Birds of Goodness’ executes 28th airdrop of humanitarian aid in northern Gaza

Abu Dhabi: The Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defense announced the implementation of the 28th airdrop of humanitarian and relief aid as part of operation “Birds of Good”.
The aid that was airdropped in many areas of the Gaza Strip included, for the first time, Eid Al Fitr packages containing clothing, shoes, toys, sweets and various products to mark the approach of Eid Al Fitr, which which contributes to meeting the needs of the Palestinian people and alleviating their suffering.
Two C17 aircraft of the United Arab Emirates Air Force and two C295 aircraft of the Egyptian Air Force participated in the launch operation.
The airdrop was carried out over isolated and inaccessible areas in the northern Gaza Strip by four planes carrying 82 tons of food and humanitarian aid, bringing the total amount of airdropped aid to 1,647 tons since the start of the operation.
Operation Birds of Goodness is part of “Operation Knight Knight 3” to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
