Dubai welcomes 3.67 million overnight visitors in January-February 2024

In January and February 2024, Dubai welcomed 3.67 million overnight visitors, an increase of more than 18 percent compared to the previous year. He Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism shared these figures.
During these two months, Dubai received 1.77 million international visitors in January and 1.9 million in February.
Regarding the origin of visitors, Europe had the highest number with 773,000 tourists, followed by South Asia with 604,000 visitors and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries with 549,000.
Tourists from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Eastern Europe reached 530,000, while those from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region were 448,000. In addition, Dubai received 340,000 visitors from North and Southeast Asia, 240,000 from America, 138,000 from Africa and 53,000 from Australia.
The number of hotel rooms increased from 148,450 in January-February 2023 to 151,269 in the same period of 2024, in 826 establishments. The average occupancy rate was 87 percent, up 3 percent from the previous year.
During January and February 2024, there were 7.78 million room nights occupied, with visitors staying an average of 3.8 nights.
