Virgin Voyages’ Resilient Lady makes first call at Dubai Port

Dubai PortThe extraordinary coastal district of Dubai, today welcomed Virgin Voyages’ iconic Resilient Lady on her inaugural call to the Persian Gulf.

The stopover is one of a series of international cruise ships set to arrive at Dubai Port during this year’s cruise season, carrying 300,000 passengers and 49 ship calls.

Resilient Lady is the newest”lady boat” to join the Virgin Voyages fleet that previously included Scarlet Lady and Valiant Lady. Celebrating Virgin’s former British heritage, Resilient Lady launched on May 14, 2023 from her summer homeport in Athens, Greece.

Inspired by superyacht design and bringing modern glamor to the seas, the latest boat from Richard BransonThe cruise travel brand arrived in style at the port of Dubai, rekindling people’s connection to the sea and charting a course towards new ways of exploring maritime lifestyles. Last summer, the award-winning brand offered two seven-night Greek Islands and Adriatic Sea itineraries departing from Athens. These included “The Adriatic Sea and the Greek Gems” and “The Shining of the Greek Islands.” Resilient Lady, along with her sister ships, was designed by world-renowned architects and designers, including Tom Dixon and Concrete Amsterdam, with menus curated by Michelin-starred chefs. On board, sailors enjoy a daily lineup of immersive entertainment and live music performances, combined with incredible food from more than 20 restaurants and stunning spaces to recharge and relax. From unlimited group exercise classes to a mermaid-inspired spa and thermal suite, Virgin Voyages emphasizes relaxation while on a mission to curate the best week at sea for its sailors.
