UAE Union Day: Marches, unauthorized gatherings and display of the flag of any other country are prohibited

Decoration stores have specific instructions not to display flags or posters unless they are of the UAE flag or related to Union Day.
People celebrating the event must strictly respect traffic rules and unquestionably follow the instructions of police officers. Any use of party spray by individuals, whether in vehicles or on foot, has been declared strictly prohibited.
In addition, the police have prohibited any tampering with vehicle license plates, changes in vehicle color and darkening or tinting of windshields in all cases. Only Union Day stickers that meet certain standards are allowed on vehicles. Authorities have also prohibited exceeding vehicle occupancy limits designated for passengers, including practices such as climbing out of windows or sunroofs.
Additionally, vehicle owners are cautioned that modifications that could affect engine structure or visibility, especially alterations to the exhaust system, are not permitted. During the celebrations, traffic disruptions or any form of road closures are also prohibited.
The Abu Dhabi Police have made it clear that failure to comply with these rules will result in immediate fines and sanctions, especially directed at drivers and decoration shops that do not comply with the stipulated guidelines. These regulations will come into effect from November 27 to December 4 to coincide with the Union Day festivities.
No marches or random gatherings are allowed.
Decoration shop owners are prohibited from installing flags or posters, except for the UAE flag or Union Day posters.
Celebrants must strictly adhere to traffic rules and certainly follow the instructions of police officers.
Keep the volume of songs to a minimum, allowing only those related to Union Day.
The use of any spray (party spray) by the driver, passengers or pedestrians is strictly prohibited.
Do not wear scarves except on Union Day.
Do not tamper with the front or rear license plates.
Do not change the color of the vehicle or tint the windshield under any circumstances.
It is strictly prohibited to hoist flags of any country other than the United Arab Emirates.
Refrain from placing stickers, posters or logos on the vehicle, with the sole exception of Union Day stickers following the specified rules and conditions.
Do not cover the side, front or rear windows of the vehicle with stickers or use a front window.
Do not exceed the permitted occupancy limit of the vehicle, and strictly refrain from leaving through the windows or the sunroof at any point.
Performing stunts on both indoor and outdoor roads is strictly prohibited.
