Applicants for issuance or renewal of UAE residency visas can electronically upload health insurance details from Monday, February 19, eliminating the need to submit documents manually.
The Federal Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security Authority (ICP) said that health insurance policies, issued by accredited health insurance companies, will be transferred electronically directly from the unified platform.

Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, director general of the PCI, assured that the process will be carried out through a secure link. He added that the digital process will shorten the visa application and renewal time.
