He conveyed his greetings to His Majesty King Willem-Alexander and his wishes for continued health and well-being for His Majesty, as well as greater prosperity for the people of the Netherlands. The UAE president highlighted that there are approximately 350 Dutch companies that operate in the UAE in key sectors, and The United Arab Emirates is one of the Netherlands’ most important trading partners in the Arab world. His Highness noted that the UAE’s commitment to sustainability, environmental stewardship and renewable energy is based on its rich legacy of supporting global efforts and initiatives that champion sustainable development and global economic prosperity.
Furthermore, he highlighted that the UAE’s economic diversification strategy has been instrumental in supporting its economic strength, aligning with its vision for the future and enhancing its international stature and competitiveness. Rutte expressed his gratitude to His Highness for the warm reception and emphasized his country’s eagerness to strengthen cooperation with the United Arab Emirates.
