Get your trainers ready, as Dubai’s highly anticipated fitness frenzy will take over the city in just a few weeks, and registration is now open, it was announced on Wednesday.

Now in its seventh edition, the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) features an action-packed 30-day calendar of free fitness events, community centres, classes and activities. It will take place from October 28 to November 26.

To register, simply log in to the official Dubai Fitness Challenge website.

This DFC promises a huge month-long challenge with the new Dubai Stand-Up Paddle setting the stage for its biggest line-up of events to date.

Flagship activities returning this year include Dubai Run, presented by Mai Dubai, and Dubai Ride, presented by DP World.

Signing up for the annual DFC means accepting the famous 30×30 challenge, in which participants will commit to 30 minutes of physical activity a day for 30 days.

What awaits participants this year?

With a mission to transform Dubai into one of the world’s busiest cities, this year’s DFC will feature three 30 day fitness townsincluding the return of the much-loved DP World Kite Beach Fitness Village, a bustling hotbed of sporting activities in one of Dubai’s most iconic coastal locations.

There will also be the new RTA Mushrif Park cycling centercomplete with guided bike trails, a pump track and free bike rentals, plus Run and Ride Central presented by Meraas, which will serve as the ultimate destination for clubs, top brands and all those interested in the benefits of running and cycling for lifestyle. .

With 600 free fitness sessions and more than 400 hours of activities Through a month-long programme, all set against the stunning backdrop of Dubai’s famous skyline, the new venues will perfectly cater to those looking for easy access to fitness classes to support their 30X30 goals.

The challenge will also include 25 community fitness centers throughout the city, including Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC), Hatta, Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) and Dubai Police Officers Club, offering free sports activations and fitness classes.

Dubai Ride presented by DP World will mark its return on Sunday, November 12. Supported by the Roads and Transport Authority, it will offer families, recreational cyclists and cycling enthusiasts a truly unforgettable experience as they cycle through Dubai’s iconic landmarks along Sheikh Zayed Road and Downtown Dubai.
