Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, Director General of Dubai Health Authority (DHA), inaugurated the Premier Diagnostic Center located inside the Reef Mall in Deira. He noted that advances in medical technologies increase Dubai’s distinction as a destination for health tourism.
He also highlighted the role played by the private healthcare sector, including hospitals, clinics and specialized facilities, “for their contribution to DHA’s strategic objectives.”

According to Premier Diagnostic Centre, “AI is used in the healthcare sector for early detection of diseases. “It improves the accuracy and speed of diagnosis, thereby improving prevention and treatment while reducing cost and burdens on the healthcare system.”
“By collecting data, AI can monitor a patient’s health and detect any abnormalities that may indicate disease progression or recurrence.”
During the inauguration of the medical laboratory, Al Ketbi toured various departments and suites of the Premier Diagnostic Centre. He was welcomed by Dr. Jamil Ahmed, Founder and CEO of Prime Healthcare Group, and medical staff.
Dr Ahmed took note of DHA’s support to the private sector to expand its medical facilities and specializations. He added: “Dubai’s unique investment climate in the healthcare sector encourages the expansion of medical facilities and specializations.
