MBRF presents the ‘Knowledge Summit 2023’ in collaboration with UNDP

Under the sponsorship of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubaihe Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF), in collaboration with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), announced full details of the long-awaited “Knowledge Summit 2023”.

Scheduled to take place from November 21 to 22, 2023, At the Dubai World Trade Center and with a virtual day on November 23, 2023, this summit promises to be an unparalleled confluence of minds and ideas.

This announcement was made during a press conference organized by the MBRF at the Dubai Press Club in the presence of His Excellency Jamal bin Huwaireb, Executive Director of the MBRF; Khaled Abdel Shafi, UNDP Regional Center Manager via Zoom; and Dr. Hany Torky, Chief Technical Advisor of the UNDP Knowledge Project.

Theme “Knowledge cities and the fifth industrial revolution”, the eighth edition of the Knowledge Summit will focus on the fundamental role of knowledge in shaping the foundation of knowledge cities. These cities are poised to become indispensable pillars of the future economic model, fostering dynamic environments for innovation and creativity, improving people’s overall quality of life, and advancing communities.

The summit will attract a multitude of global experts and specialists from various sectors, facilitating an exchange of deep experiences and knowledge. The event agenda includes a series of engaging sessions, workshops and conferences, with a distinguished line-up of keynote speakers. Additionally, it will provide a platform to showcase the latest technologies and innovations in various sectors.

The summit will also devote substantial attention to the transformative technologies of the Fifth Industrial Revolution and the comprehensive metamorphosis it has initiated in conventional business models. It will underline the fundamental role of this revolution in improving communication between people and digital systems, strengthening cybersecurity, promoting energy efficiency and increasing the overall effectiveness of networks.
