Electronic registration dominated 96 percent of the total number of registered for the electoral bodies, since the registration process was available electronically using the ‘UAE PASS’ application, in addition to direct registration through nine accredited electoral centers in the municipalities of the emirate for a period of 29 days as per the scheduled election.
Bin Nassar expressed his deep gratitude to the Supreme Election Committee of the SCC and all citizens, men and women, for their response and enthusiasm in facing the first phase of the elections by registering with the electoral bodies, and asked everyone to continue their interaction with the electoral system. process to fulfill the call of national duty, until reaching the polls to choose who represents them and express their voices under the leadership of the Sharjah Consultative Council.
The city of Sharjah ranked first in the number of registrations, which reached 25,622, while the city of Khorfakkan came second with 9,414 registrations, while the number of registrations in the city of Kalba reached 6,515.
In the elections for the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, 3,781 people from Dibba Al Hisn and 2,210 from Al Dhaid registered.
The number of registrations for the Sharjah Consultative Council elections in Al Madam reached 1,546 registrations, 1,330 in Mleiha, while in the Al Bataeh region there were 774 registrations, with 445 registrations in Al Hamriyah.
According to the previously approved calendar, the voting phase for those registered in the electoral bodies begins from December 5 to 7, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., through nine electoral centers in the emirate, or electronic voting using UAE PASS through the site electoral website, or Sharjah Digital.
