Dubai announces free parking and updated metro and bus schedules

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the working hours of all its services during the 52nd Union Day holiday.

The change in business hours will affect customer service centres, paid parking areas, public buses, Dubai Metro and Tram, maritime transport and centers that carry out technical inspections of vehicles.

Free parking

Public parking will be free during the Union Day holiday, except at multi-level parking terminals, starting Saturday. December 2-4.

Parking fees will resume on Tuesday, December 5.

Dubai Metro

From November 30 to December 3, the Red and Green Lines will operate as follows: Thursday – Sunday (November 30 – December 3) from 5 am to 1 am (the next day).

Monday to Sunday (December 4 to 10) from 5 am to 1 am (next day), and Mondays and Tuesdays (December 11 to 12) from 5 am to 1 am (next day).

Dubai tram timetables

From November 30 to December 12, the Dubai Tram will operate from Monday to Saturday from 6:00 am to 1:00 am the next day, and on Sundays from 9:00 am to 1 am (the next day).

Public bus schedules (Dubai Bus), route changes

Starting December 1-3, (16) bus routes on Sheikh Zayed Road (only towards Abu Dhabi) will be rerouted, namely: 10, 15, 21, 7, 8, 83, 91, E101, 98E, 96 , 95A, 95, 91A, X94, road detours.

The stops of the mentioned bus routes will remain closed during the mentioned dates and period.

Services will be normal on all other routes as follows: Monday to Thursday from 4:30 am to 00:30 am (next day) Friday from 5 am to 00:30 am (next day)

From Saturday to Sunday, services will run from 6am to 1am (next day).

The schedule of the metro shuttle bus service will be synchronized with the metro’s operating schedules and trips.

Intercity bus routes

The bus route (E100) was redirected to move from Ibn Battuta bus station and go to Abu Dhabi and the bus route (E102) was redirected to move from Ibn Battuta bus station and go to the community of Musaffah only since December 1 to 4.

Services will be normal on all other routes as follows: (E16) from Al Sabkha to Hatta, (E100) from Al Ghubaiba to Abu Dhabi, (E101) from Ibn Battuta to Abu Dhabi, (E102) from Ibn Battuta to Musaffah, (E201) from Al Ghubaiba to Al Ain, (E303) from Union Station to Jubail in Sharjah, (E306) from Al Ghubaiba to Jubail in Sharjah, (E307) from Deira city center to Jubail in Sharjah, ( E307A) from Abu Hail to Jubail in Sharjah, (E315) from Etisalat Station to Muwaileh in Sharjah, (E400) from Union Station to Ajman, (E411) from Etisalat Station to Ajman and (E700) from Al Ittihad Station to Fujairah.

Marine transport

water bus: Dubai Marina (BM1) Marina Mall – Marina Walk from 12:00 pm to 11:05 pm, Marina Promenade – Marina Mall from 3:55 pm to 10:00 pm, Marina Terrace – Marina Walk from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm :00 pm and the full line from 3:55 pm to 9:40 pm

water taxi: Marina Mall – Bluewaters (BM3) from 4:15 p.m. to 11:25 p.m. The service will be available on demand from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Clients must reserve in advance.

Dubai Ferry: Al Ghubaiba – Dubai Water Canal (FR1) 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., Dubai Water Canal – Al Ghubaiba (FR1) 2:25 p.m. and 7:25 p.m., Dubai Water Canal – Bluewaters (FR2) 1:50 p.m. and 6:50 p.m. Bluewaters – Marina Mall (FR2) 2:50 p.m. and 7:50 p.m., Marina Mall – Bluewaters (FR2) 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., Bluewaters – Dubai Water Canal (FR2) 1:15 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m., sightseeing tours from Marina Mall (FR4) 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Sharjah Aquarium – Al Ghubaiba (FR5) 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., Al Ghubaiba – Sharjah Aquarium (FR5) 3:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. h.

Dubai Old Souk – Baniyas (CR3) from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 p.m., Al Fahidi – Al Sabkha (CR4) from 10:00 a.m. to 11:25 p.m., Al Fahidi Old Souk – Deira (CR5) from 10:00 a.m.: 00 to 23:15, Baniyas – Al Seef (CR6), 10:00 – 00:00, Al Seef – Al Fahidi – Old Dubai Souk (CR7) 15:10 – 22:55, Dubai Festival City – Dubai Creek Harbor (CR9) 4:00 p.m. – 11:50 p.m., Al Jaddaf – Dubai Festival City (BM2) 8:00 a.m. – 11:50 p.m., and sightseeing tours of the Dubai Water Canal and Sheikh Zayed Shipping Station (TR6), from 4:00 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.

Service provider centers (Vehicle testing)

Service provider centers will be closed starting Saturday, December 2. Vehicle MOT services will resume on December 4, only at the following centers (Tasjeel Al Twar, AutoPro Satwa, AutoPro Al Mankhool, Tasjeel Al Awir and Al Yalayis). Room transactions will resume at all centers from Tuesday, December 5.

Customer satisfaction centers

During the holidays, customer service centers will be closed. Smart customer satisfaction centers in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Kifaf and RTA head office will operate as usual, 24 hours a day.
