UAE aid ship carrying 4,000 tonnes of relief supplies sets sail from Fujairah to support Palestinians in Gaza

Fujairah: A UAE aid ship, bound for the city of Al-Arish, Egypt, set sail from Fujairah on Saturday, carrying 4,016 tonnes of humanitarian aid supplies, in preparation for the shipment’s entry into the Strip. The ship, which departed from the port of Fujairah, is carrying 3,465 tons of food, 420 tons of shelter materials, as well as 131 tons of medical aid, provided by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Foundation. During the period ending November 30, UAE aid provided to the Palestinian people amounted to more than 2,681 tons, and the number of aircraft sent as part of the UAE airlift was 92.

The UAE’s commitment reflects its solidarity with the Palestinian people, backed by a long history of aid and humanitarian work through which the UAE provided all possible forms of support.
