Dubai to have tallest residential clock tower

The move marks the Swiss watchmaker’s first foray into the real estate sector.
Dubai will get its first residential clock tower, which will also be the world’s tallest residential clock tower, the building’s developers announced on Thursday.
The project was unveiled at an event to mark the collaboration between London Gate, the premium real estate developer in the United Arab Emirates, and Franck Muller, the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer in Dubai.
This collaboration, which has set global trends in the watch industry for the last three decades, marks Franck Muller’s entry into the world of real estate.
The long-awaited London Gate development in Dubai Marina at 450m, will make its mark as the tallest residential tower; branded residential tower; and the tallest residential clock tower in the world.
Eman Taha, CEO of London Gatesaying:
“After our debut in the UAE real estate market, with our Maya V, Nadine I and II projects sold out, we are now delighted to present our masterpiece in collaboration with iconic watchmaker Frank Muller. With our latest project, we present the first residences of the Frank Muller brand. With this partnership, we aim to create a living experience that reflects the brand values and vision of both London Gate and Frank Muller. An exclusive brand residential project; “This will be a testament to our commitment to creating unparalleled, never-before-seen spaces that resonate with the essence and prestige of our brand partner.”
The tower is named Aeternitas in honor of Franck Muller’s clock of the same name. It is the most complicated watch in the world with 36 complications and 1,483 components, according to the company’s website.

The luxury residential project will be officially unveiled in January 2024 and residents can expect delivery in 2026.
