UAE calls on private companies to meet Emiratization target by December 31

“Companies that have not yet fulfilled their commitments can benefit from the Nafis platform, which provides access to a sizeable pool of qualified UAE nationals specialized in various sectors, to fill their vacant positions,” MoHRE noted.

The Ministry warned companies against any attempt to evade the objectives of Emiratization or engage in false Emiratization.

“Harmful practices aimed at circumventing commitments will be dealt with firmly and in accordance with the law,” the Ministry stated, highlighting the “efficiency of its inspection system in detecting such practices.”

The MoHRE inspection team, from mid-2022 to date, has detected 916 companies that have violated Emiratization decisions, attempts to circumvent Emiratization targets and false Emiratization publications; These companies have hired a total of 1,411 UAE nationals.

The Ministry applauded more than 18,000 companies for their commitment to Emiratization policies and their contribution to the historic and unprecedented increase in the number of UAE citizens joining the private sector, where the total now stands at around 88,000 Emiratis.

The Ministry highlighted the benefits and privileges granted to companies by joining the Emiratisation Partners Club, which include a reduction of up to 80 percent in MoHRE service fees, a priority in the public procurement system, in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, and access to the benefits of the Nafis program for companies and individuals.
