UAE: Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid forms board of directors of Dubai Ambulance Services Corporation

Dubai: In his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, issued Decree No. 62 of 2023 establishing the board of the Services Corporation of Dubai Ambulance, chaired by the Director. General of the Dubai Health Authority.
The Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Excellence and Pioneer Affairs of Dubai Police will act as Vice President of the Board.
Other members of the Board include the executive director of the Dubai RTA Road and Traffic Agency, along with a representative each from the Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Dubai Civil Defense Directorate General and the Academic Health Corporation of Dubai (Dubai Health). These representatives will be appointed by the respective owners of said entities. The board also includes the CEO of Dubai Corporation For Ambulance Services.
The Decree annuls Decree No. 25 of 2014 regarding the formation of the Board of Dubai Ambulance Services Corporation. The new Decree No. 62 of 2023 comes into force from the date of its issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
