UAE weather: Red and yellow alerts issued for fog and rough seas – News

The day will be sunny in general and partly cloudy at times, as reported by the National Center of Meteorology. Heavy rain is also forecast across the country.
Low clouds will appear over the east in the afternoon. Light to moderate winds will blow, cooling towards the west over the sea. Red and yellow alerts have been issued for fog and rough seas.
The alerts say: “Formation of fog with deterioration of horizontal visibility, which may decrease further in some internal and coastal areas from midnight to 10 a.m. on Wednesday.”
“Cool winds and rough seas with waves reaching a height of 6 feet offshore from 8 pm Tuesday to 8 pm Wednesday.”
Temperatures could reach up to 30ºC in the country. The mercury is expected to rise to 27ºC in Abu Dhabi and 28ºC in Dubai.
However, temperatures could drop to 18ºC in Abu Dhabi and 20ºC in Dubai and 7ºC in mountainous regions.
The atmosphere will be humid overnight and on Friday morning, in some inland areas. Levels will range between 50 and 90 percent in Abu Dhabi and between 45 and 85 percent in Dubai.
Conditions at sea will be mild to moderate and at times difficult to the west in the Arabian Gulf and mild in the Oman Sea.
