Abu Dhabi has announced free parking and tolls for the New Year holidays in the emirate.
The Integrated Transportation Center declared Darb parking and toll free on Monday, January 1, 2024. Toll fees will resume from Tuesday, January 2.
Mawaqif (surface parking) is free until 7:59 am on Tuesday, January 2. Parking will also be free at the Mussafah M-18 truck park during the holiday.

Residents have been advised not to park in prohibited places or obstruct the movement of vehicles. The ITC called on drivers to park properly in the designated areas and avoid parking in residential parking lots from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Regarding the operating schedule of public bus services in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the ITC stated that the services will operate according to the schedule followed during weekends and official holidays.
The number of trips between the city of Abu Dhabi and its suburbs will increase, as well as the number of trips between Abu Dhabi and the other emirates. Additionally, ITC will increase travel on the free No. 408 bus service to and from the Sheikh Zayed Festival to meet the needs of its visitors.
The ITC stated that Customer Happiness Centers across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi will be closed during the holiday on Monday, January 1, 2024 and will resume operations on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Customers can continue to request the services of the ITC on its digital platform. platforms through its website www.itc.gov.ae, TAMM platform, Darb and Darbi smart applications.
