Borouge launches five new solutions for the infrastructure and packaging industries

Khalfan Mohamed AlMuhairi, senior vice president of Borouge’s Middle East and Exports region, said the company has launched five new solutions.
The first is designed for the infrastructure industry, while the other four are designed for advanced packaging industries to meet the growing demand in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
AlMuhairi said the launch supports Borouge’s growth and innovation strategy by increasing its market share in the infrastructure pipeline sector, valued at almost $1 billion in the company’s core territories.
In response to consumer demand, he added, Borouge has introduced its first bulk continuous filament (BCF) product, designed for fiber and carpet applications, to target a $100 million market in the Middle East and North Africa region and provide a significant opportunity for Borouge increase its market share.
Referring to the driving forces behind the growing demand, he said that the demand for BorougePremium and differentiated polyolefin solutions continue to grow in the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. The company plans to capitalize on trends driving this demand, including increased urbanization resulting from population growth in our core markets.
