EDGEleading advanced technology and defense group, has signed a historic contract to supply 200 HT-100 and HT-750 unmanned helicopters to the United Arab Emirates. Minister of Defenseas part of a landmark deal, which is the largest order ever placed for unmanned helicopter systems, to enhance their VTOL capabilities.
Unmanned VTOL systems will be manufactured by Swiss company EDGE entity, ANAVIA, specialized in the development and manufacturing of autonomous aerial capabilities.
The compact HT-100 and larger HT-750 are multi-role unmanned helicopters for ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) and logistics missions, designed to carry heavy payloads while maintaining exceptional flight stability, establishing the standard for autonomous flight.

This historic order represents the UAE Ministry of Defense’s first order for these advanced aircraft, and the largest order ever placed for ANAVIA, which reinforces the trust placed in these exceptional products by customers around the world.
“It also exemplifies EDGE’s strategy of pursuing mutually beneficial partnerships around the world, as we have done with ANAVIA, allowing us to expand the reach of our technological capabilities across multiple domains while ensuring sustainable growth for both partners and performing our role in the development of sovereign capabilities in the air, land and naval domains.
In November 2023, EDGE acquired a 52% majority stake in ANAVIA, which develops and manufactures unmanned helicopters capable of conducting surveillance, reconnaissance and mission-critical transportation, as well as being easily adaptable to EDGE’s diverse portfolio of air, land and maritime capabilities.
