World Government Summit organizes 15 global forums to explore important future transformations

The upcoming edition of the World Government Summit (WGS), to be held in Dubai from February 12 to 14, is set to be a major event with a rich agenda under the theme “Shaping the Governments of the Future”.
He W.G.S. will focus on shaping a better future for humanity and will highlight six major themes and 15 global forums that will explore major global trends and future transformations through more than 110 key dialogues and interactive sessions. More than 200 global figures will participate, including presidents, prime ministers, experts, thinkers and future creators.
He W.G.S.The eleventh edition will host more than 23 ministerial meetings and round tables with more than 300 ministers. In addition, it will be attended by more than 85 international, regional and intergovernmental organizations, along with 120 government delegations.
Notable attendees include business leaders such as Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI; Guillaume Faury, CEO of Airbus; Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA; Eric Schmidt, co-founder of Schmidt Futures and former CEO and chairman of Google; Dr. Darío Gil, Senior Vice President and Director of Research at IBM; and Dr. Yann LeCun, vice president and chief AI scientist at META, among others.
Mohamed Yousef AlSharhan, Managing Director of the World Government Summit Organizationhighlighted the importance of the new edition, underlining the importance of hosting global leaders from the private sector to exchange solutions in various sectors such as artificial intelligence, economic and financial management, energy, climate change, education and health.
The summit will host 15 global forums focused on developing future strategies and plans in sectors vital to humanity. These forums, organized in partnership with international organizations, global technology institutions and leading companies, aim to innovate new solutions to the challenges facing human societies.
These forums include the Global Health Forum, the Government Services Forum, the Arab Government Administration Forum, the Knowledge Exchange Forum, the Future of Transportation Forum, the Public Finance Forum for Arab Countries, the Forum of the Future of Education, the Space Future Forum and the Advanced Technology and Industry Forum.
He WGS 2024 continues its various dialogues through forums such as the Artificial Intelligence Forum, the Future of Work Forum, the Emerging Economies Forum, the Geotechnology Governance Forum, the Sustainable Development Goals Forum, in addition to the Arab Meeting of Young Leaders and the ‘Time 100’ event.
The summit will also host purposeful global discussions with the aim of visualizing the configuration of future governments. It will bring together world leaders, global government officials, international organizations, thought leaders and private sector leaders to ensure improved international cooperation, identify innovative solutions to future challenges, anticipate key opportunities and inspire the next generation of governments.
The summit will also host high-level ministerial meetings, including discussions on sustainable development, the next generation of future governments, Arab finance, labor ministers of Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the future of hydrogen energy.
