The principals explained that to optimize their preparations, students are encouraged to participate in CBSE sample papers, revise previous years’ questions and refer to the model answer sheets provided on the CBSE website.

“Understanding the structure of the question paper and prioritizing examples and exercises from NCERT (National Council for Educational Research and Training) textbooks is essential for success. Creating a study schedule and setting personal goals are also important steps in the preparation process. Employing visual aids such as flowcharts, pictorial representations and abbreviations can simplify complex information and improve learning efficiency,” Singh said.

Muhammad Ali Kottakkulam, Principal of Gulf Indian High School, Dubai, said: “[Students] It is recommended to stay healthy, organize your study material, stay away from distractions, eat a healthy diet, avoid new topics at the last minute, take breaks during preparations, get enough sleep (especially the night before the exam), and visualize your own success. to increase their motivation and confidence.”

Parental support

Educators emphasized that parents can offer essential assistance by creating a dedicated study area and a calm environment. It is important not to pressure students to perfect their studies or introduce contradictory ideas that could go against the guidance provided by teachers.

Rashmi Nandkeolyar, Director and Director of DPS Dubai, shared her advice for parents. “Ensure a good night’s sleep and good nutrition, especially breakfast. Be encouraging and positive. Family anxiety rubs off on children. We must remember that although this is a high-stakes exam, it is not a life situation Or death”.

Effective time management

Principals noted that for months, students have been diligently preparing for their upcoming exams, and pre-board exams serve as a valuable assessment.

This has allowed students to assess their preparation, identify areas of strength and weakness, and refine their exam strategies.
