Bodies of four martyrs of the UAE Armed Forces arrive in Abu Dhabi

A military ceremony was held at the airport to receive the bodies of the martyrs in the presence of several senior leaders and officials of the Ministry of Defense as well as the families and relatives of the martyrs.

Earlier, the UAE Ministry of Defense had announced the martyrdom of three members of the UAE Armed Forces and one officer of the Bahrain Defense Forces, along with the injury of two others, in a terrorist act in the Republic of Somalia. while they fulfill their mission to train and qualify the Somali Armed Forces as part of a bilateral agreement between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Somalia that is part of the military cooperation between both countries. One of the two injured died upon arrival.

In a statement, the Ministry of Defense expressed its deepest condolences to their families and wished a complete and speedy recovery to the injured.
