UAE President and Bahrain King Discuss Brotherly Relations, Regional Developments

Bahrain: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain discussed the brotherly ties between the two nations and the collective efforts in various sectors to meet their shared goals of progress.
King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his accompanying delegation on Friday in the presence of Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain.
King Hamad welcomed the visit of the President of the United Arab Emirates and his accompanying delegation to his second home, Bahrain, where they exchanged friendly conversations that reflected the depth of brotherly relations that unite the leaders and people of the United Arab Emirates. two countries based on strong ties of kinship and understanding. and the belief in their shared destiny. They reaffirmed their mutual commitment to continue coordination and consultation for the benefit of their people and the region in general.
Sheikh Mohamed offered his condolences and solidarity to King Hamad for the martyrdom of Major Abdullah Al Noaimi and several of his UAE Armed Forces comrades following a recent terrorist act in Somalia while he was on duty training the Somali Armed Forces. King Hamad, in turn, expressed his deepest condolences and solidarity for the martyrs of the UAE.
Joint Gulf Action
The meeting addressed the importance of enhancing joint Gulf action and the commitment of the two countries to support it at various levels for the well-being of all citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. Additionally, the two sides explored regional and international developments, along with ways to enhance bilateral and multilateral cooperation to address a range of issues and developments.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed stated that brotherly relations between the UAE and Bahrain are strengthening due to the shared dedication of their leaders to improve ties in various sectors. He highlighted that the relationship between the UAE and Bahrain is a cornerstone of collective Arab and Gulf initiatives and reflects the aligned perspectives of both nations on regional issues.
Brotherly relations
King Hamad expressed his pride in the deep and brotherly relations between Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates and emphasized his dedication to further strengthening these ties. He applauded the high level of continued cooperation and collaboration between the two countries, as well as their aligned strategic visions aimed at enhancing regional security and stability.
He organized a banquet lunch in honor of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and the delegation accompanying him.
The meeting was attended by Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs of the Presidential Court; Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the Supreme National Security Council; Abdullah Muhair Al Ketbi, Minister of Federal Supreme Council Affairs; Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport and Member of the Executive Council; Fahad Al Ameri, ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Bahrain; and several senior officials.
Upon his arrival at Sakhir Air Base on Friday, the UAE President was received by King Hamad, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, and several senior officials of the Kingdom.
Sheikh Mohamed, accompanied by King Hamad bin Isa and Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, visited the Royal Guard headquarters, where they were briefed on its facilities and annexes. Upon arrival at the headquarters, the national anthems of the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain were played.
Condolences
The President of the United Arab Emirates also visited the family of the late Major Abdullah Al Nuaimi and offered his deepest condolences and solidarity. He prayed for Almighty God’s mercy and forgiveness for him and all the Emirati martyrs, and for his families to find patience and comfort.
He wrote a message in the headquarters’ visitor book, saying: “It is a pleasure to visit the headquarters of the Royal Guard, a key pillar of Bahrain’s national framework, emblematic of the nation’s strong defense and its contributions to security and stability at the local and regional level. . “I extend my best wishes to the members of the Royal Guard for their continued success and honor.”

Lieutenant General Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa presented a gift to Sheikh Mohamed on the occasion of his visit to the Royal Guard Headquarters, expressing his gratitude for the visit and highlighting the pride of the members of the Royal Guard in welcoming Your Highness.
