Sheikh Mohamed underlined the UAE’s commitment to sport as a fundamental element of its vision of comprehensive and sustainable development. He highlighted how global sporting events play a crucial role in building bridges and fostering mutual understanding across the world, especially among youth, enriching their values and promoting a competitive spirit.
Infantino expressed his gratitude for the strong cooperation and coordination between the United Arab Emirates and FIFA, and praised the country’s advanced sports infrastructure, which positions it as a privileged location to host major international sporting events.
