Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS), a subsidiary of PureHealth, has opened its 18th visa assessment center.

The Disease Detection and Prevention Center (DPSC) was inaugurated in the presence of Dr Farida Al Hosani, Executive Director of the Communicable Diseases Sector, at the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center (ADPHC), and representatives of the centre.

In partnership with Tasheel and Tawjeeh, DPSC is strategically located within the Al Qurm Smart Services Centre, in Makani Mall, Al Shamkha, allowing people to undergo their pre-visa health screening at the same location where they complete their visa renewals.

The move brings AHS services closer to the community, promoting easier access to visa assessment services in Abu Dhabi.

Dr Al Hosani said: “Abu Dhabi is committed to building one of the healthiest and safest communities in the world. Visa assessment services play a crucial role in achieving this goal by ensuring the well-being of the community.

“The new assessment center at Makani Mall, Al Shamkha, will make the visa process smoother and faster for community members, ultimately contributing to improving the quality of life in line with the Emirate’s efforts.”

Dr Asma Al Halaseh, CEO of AHS, said: “The new Disease Detection and Prevention Center in Al Shamkha is the third facility that AHS has opened within a Tasheel centre.

“These new one-stop centers are an important part of Abu Dhabi’s healthcare ecosystem, but most importantly, they make completing the visa process faster and easier than ever.”

Dr Khadija Al Marashda, Director of Disease Screening and Prevention Centers at AHS, commented: “We are committed to bringing our services closer to the community by opening our visa screening centers in key locations, such as shopping malls.”

The new center in Makani Mall, Al Shamkha, offers regular and fast services. It is open Sunday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, and accepts both appointment and walk-in clients.

People can book their appointments through the SEHA Visa Screening app, available on iTunes and the Google Play store.

AHS is the largest provider of visa assessment services in Abu Dhabi. It also operates a mobile visa screening clinic that companies can book for their employees via mobilevisascreening@seha.ae.

PureHealth is the largest integrated healthcare platform in the UAE with 25+ hospitals, 100+ clinics, multiple diagnostic centres, health insurance solutions, pharmacies, health technology, acquisitions and investments, among others.
