Kia EV9 earns a spot on the list of best family cars for parents of 2024

• EV9 is one of two winners in the important “Best 3-Row Electric SUV” category.
• The EV9’s victory marks Kia’s third victory in the last three years.

PADRES has recognized the Kia EV9 (best 3-row electric SUV) in its “The best family cars” awards by 2024. The annual awards include 22 automotive categories, showcasing cars, SUVs and driving systems that embody the best combination of safety and functionality for families in their respective categories.

PARENTS experts tested more than 140 cars in total, across all categories of a new model vehicle field. The panel of judges evaluated each model on a 10-point scale in the following areas: overall safety, including driver assistance and safety technology; child seats in cars that include ease of installation, space to accommodate seats in the rear and third rows and access to the third row; power and technical specifications of each model; the family character of each model; surprising factors that will attract families; and the price of each model in its category.

The all-electric 2024 EV9 debuted as Kia’s first three-row EV SUV. The spacious SUV can seat seven passengers. Available features include a 12-inch full-color head-up display designed to project driving information directly onto the windshield within the driver’s line of sight. Available Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) include Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control and Rear Occupant Alert (Door Logic)
